Handknitters Anonymous and Block Party are two classes that we have every month. However, due to previous disinterest in classes we offered, we have switched to doing more private lessons. Keep an eye out for NEW CLASSES IN JANUARY AND FEBRUARY, as we will be adding more periodically.

Private lessons run $20 an hour, and we will teach you anything you want to know that we are able to teach (i.e. - beginning quilting, sewing, piecing a top, marking your quilt, etc.). This has proven to be quite effective because you can work at your own pace one on one, or you can bring a friend and work together.

For all of you who want to learn, have hit a snag, or you just want to knit away from home, this is the place for you! This class is free. Block Party Instructor: Lora Kennedy and/or Virginia Schewe Email: farmlandquilting@gmail.com Date/Time: 6:30p-8:30p, February 21, 2012 (Third Tuesday of every month) Description: Come on out to our version of a block party. We will provide a block pattern, fabric, and refreshments, plus two hours of instruction on the construction of this block. The first six people to register will be able to reserve a sewing machine to use for the evening. Bring your own thread clippers, pins, etc. Class fee: $20 Preregistration is advisable. All supplies provided. Machine Knitting Club  New! Date/Time: 10a-12 noon, February 18, 2012 (Every 3rd Saturday) Description: Machine knitting club. Learn about machines and the machine knitting process. All different types of machines are welcome. Bring your own machine if you want to or just come and have a good time learning. If you want one of them please reserve it when you register. Class Fee: $35 Preregistration required.
