Farmland Quilting & Embroidery
Hello! My name is Lora, and my mom and I run this business together, with the help of my two daughters, Jenny and Katie. We do a variety of things here at the shop. Custom machine quilting, custom embroidery, heat transfer graphics on t-shirts, direct-to-garment printing, and ornament and tile sublimation are part of what we do. We also have notions, yarn, knitting and crochet accessories, all of the colors of DMC embroidery floss, a wide variety of DMC #5 pearl cotton, buttons, some fabric dye, garment patterns from Simplicity and McCall's, and around 3000 bolts of fabric.
Legacy Batting by Pellon
We are also the distributor in southern Illinois for Legacy Batting by Pellon. We have batting by the board, roll, or package, with wholesale prices available. See the Gallery page, under pellon Legacy Batting, for the different types and blends.
Shop Hours
We are open Tuesday-Thursday: 9a-5p, Friday: 9a-7p, and Saturday, 9a-3p. We are CLOSED on Sundays and Mondays.
Re-organizing Fun!!!
We have been busy re-organizing our parking lot entrance area, and now we have more space and a more open atmosphere! Come on in to see! You never know, you might behold something new and different that you never noticed before!
Schwend's Dry Cleaning Pick Up/Drop Off Holiday Schedule
Schwends will pick up and drop off on Wednesday, December 28. They will not pick up or drop off on Christmas Eve (we will be CLOSED) or on New Year's Eve (we will be CLOSED).
